Isaiah Agboola

PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering, University of Michigan

I am a second-year Ph.D student at the AI sys Lab, part of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I am advised by Professor Uduak Inyang-Udoh. My research is at the intersection of controls and advanced manufacturing , with a focus on additive manufacturing specifically, Directed Energy Deposition. I also work on optimal control with application in autonomous systems, especially in safety-critical settings.

Previously, I worked as Mechanical Engineering Intern at Dangote Cement, Nigeria.
